Darol Anger

Darol Anger is an American fiddler and violinist born in San Francisco in 1953 and based in Nashville since 2022. A founding member of the David Grisman Quintet and co-founder of the Turtle Island String Quartet, he has also led or played in Montreux, Psychograss, Fiddlers 4, Mr Sun and Republic of Strings, and has recorded with Tony Rice, Stephane Grappelli, Bela Fleck and Chris Thile.
